Patience brings progress.

Yesterday I was aggravated.

I stepped on the scale to find no change.

Not even a half of a pound.

When I stepped of the scale, I quickly remembered the many times this type of discouragement crossed my path.

In my early 20's on Jenny Craig...

My mid and late twenties while on Weight Watchers.

The three weeks I went vegan after watching Veducated: The Documentary.

This type of disappointment has become such a natural thing on my journey and although i still find myself becoming frustrated and annoyed, there is something different this time around.

The thing that is different is me.

You see, the emotions and frustrations of my weight loss journey are still very much the same, but it is my mindset and belief within myself that is new.

I believe that If I don't quit, I WILL end up succeeding in everything I do. This pertains to weight loss, business, and anything my heart desires.

I believe that patience brings...

The one thing all the spiritual teachers and personal development gurus don't tell you is that it is damn near certain that you will eventually fall of the wagon at some point along your journey.

An old thought form will creep back in,

Self Sabotaging behavior will rope you back into a place of discontent and playing it small.

The stories you told yourself for years and years that kept you small will inevitably show back up, and you will end up believing them.

The spiritual teachers of today do an amazing job lifting us up, inspiring us, and sharing with us instagram story worthy quotes. But when it comes to sticking to the path, pushing through the fear, and getting back up when we fall flat on our face, the only person in the room, the only person who can get ourselves back up is us.

We need to hold enough strength and enough faith to pick ourselves up when the world pushes us down.

We need to allow the failures to be our teachers, and not our...

WATCH THE CLASS HERE.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons dried lavender flowers
2 tablespoons dried chamomile flowers or the contents of a chamomile tea bag. 2 cups of boiled water

Optional ingredients: Water Safe Crystals

Clear Quartz Rose Quartz Amethyst Smokey Quartz Citrine

Agate Moonstone

Process:

1. Bring a small pot of water to a boil.

2. Wash your face while the water is heating up to remove makeup and dirt.
Removing makeup and dirt is a must before steaming, because steaming opens up your pores, and anything on your face will be able to get inside and cause irritation.

3. Pour the steaming water into a bowl. Rest the bowl on a folded towel if needed to keep it from moving around.

4. Add your dried herbs and/or flowers to the bowl: These organic dried herbs and essential oils will release beneficial aromas.

5. Find a comfortable place to sit. Lean over the bowl and drape a towel over your head so that it creates a sort of tent over your face, hold your...

DIY Kettle Corn Recipe

Uncategorized | Posted Sep 14, 2022

Ingredients:

/4 cup corn kernels
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon fine grain sea salt 2 tablespoons maple sugar
1 teaspoon butter

Process:

Combine all of the ingredients in a brown paper lunch bag.

Fold down the top 3 times and microwave on high for 1:30-1:45 seconds. You can add more cook time in 15 increments if necessary, but be sure to keep a close eye on the maple sugar as it will start to burn if it gets too hot.

Once the bag is removed from the microwave give it a good shake, flip it over so that all of the melted sugars from the bottom of the bag drizzle down over the popped kernels, then serve.
